All games
will be played to Blackball rules. Order of play - six singles first,
followed by three doubles. Players that played in the singles may also play
in the doubles. The first two players on the card will lag for the break, the
winner of the lag having the choice of breaking or not. From then on it will
be alternate breaks. |

Failing to attend a
meeting will incur a £10 fine plus two points deducted. |
|
| |
Failing to get your
match card in on time will also result in a £10 fine plus
two points deducted. |
|

We have
produced a diary for the entire year, which is shown below. When thinking so
far ahead it is quite likely that some small alterations may be necessary,
although we hope there will not be too many changes. |

We have
asked for a contact email address for every team. I know that not everyone
has a computer, but I am sure that at least one person in every team either
owns his own PC or he knows someone that does. |

It should
be possible to conduct all league business via email. This will mean fewer
meetings to attend together with savings on photocopying etc. Please provide
us with a valid email address. |

| |
We shall
also be able to keep you informed of league positions etc. on a regular
basis. We also intend to publish the league tables both in the local press
and on the internet. |
